I do feel some type of way about the fact that The Marvels is absolutely going to tank, and all the dude-bros are going to be tripping over themselves to give us all the “reasons” why. They’re going to ignore all of the extenuating factors and use it as further justification in their hate.

I feel like the venn diagram of people who were the most looking forward to this movie, and people who are doing their best to boycott the “Big 3” is practically a circle.

I really feel for Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, and Brie Larson because it’s not their fault that there are so many things (valid and otherwise) stacked against them. It was already going to be an uphill battle without the wider issues at play here, but I unquestionably cannot rationalize giving Disney any additional money at this point (there are somethings that are unavoidable, but this definitely isn’t).

The Marvels was seriously one of the only movies I was looking forward to this year I've only seen three other movies this year and only have plans for one other lol It can't be done tho I don't even know if Disney themselves are even going to see a correlation or if they're going to draw all the wrong conclusions as usual
